A registered Marry Mentor officiant takes care of the legal requirements under Ontario’s Marriage Act: the required vows, declarations, and licence signing. This can happen at the ceremony or separately, on your schedule.

Legal Signing
This package is for couples who only require the legal completion of their marriage. Includes the required vows and declarations, the signing of the licence, and submission of all legal documentation. Ideal for when a family member or friend is officiating, when you are planning a destination wedding and want the legalities completed beforehand, or when you prefer a private affair.

Day-of Ceremony Support

Yes! Your loved one can absolutely lead your ceremony. However, a registered officiant under the Marriage Act is still required to complete the legal paperwork: the required vows, declarations, and licence signing. The officiant does not need to be at the ceremony itself; the legal piece can happen separately, on your own schedule. We pair your loved one with a registered Marry Mentor officiant who takes care of all of this for you.
